Donatello

Donatello is a famous sculptor in Renaissance, he was born in 1383. He was good at carve on marble and bronze, like relief. His famous work is David, but in that time many people think exposed his penis is not very well. But some artist think that was the art, so he didn't cover it. His works of St John the Evangelist is also very famous, and this works was made when he competition with his friend Brunellechi. Now this sculpture is put in the church of Santa Croce!

In that time some artist think the man's body is like god, so they usually use the man body to make their work. One of the artist is Donatello. In this work, I discover David take something on his had but in the picture I can't see that is what. He eyes look at his left it is like to something very conscientious. He is the very famous painter in the Renaissance. In that time, there are no another painter have the right and they didn't know the painting is very valuable.
