Jan Van Eyck

Jan Van Eyck is an famous oil painter in Renaissance, and he was read in an art school when he was very little in Holland. He and his friend, Hubert, paint the oil painting together. Jan Van Eyck use the oil to draw the painting, because he discover use the oil can draw many places that use pen or other draw tools can't draw.
Painting

This painting is made in 1420, and this paintings is an oil painting. For me, this painting let me feel is very cool, because in this paintings look like there are have two words in a paintings. In fact, there only one world, but one is paradise other one is hell. I think he want to tell us, if we do the bad things we will get the god's punish. The god's place is look very peace, but in the hell that have enmity.

Masaccio

He is also the painter in Italy. In 1401, he learned from two famous artist the architect, Brunelleschi and the sculptor, Donatello. He use Brunelleschi's math ability, and Donatello's classical art to make his own painting. This two in one paint way is very special and difficult. Now his painting most put in some big church in Italy.

This painting was Masaccio's most famous painting. It is made in 1426, and it looks very 3D. That let I feel there are many people stand over there. This painting match up the other things is in this picture, is looks like many people go to the church to pray. Some people on the top, I think they must is god or some great people. Now, this painting was already repair, and look is not very well then it repair before.

Donatello

Donatello is a famous sculptor in Renaissance, he was born in 1383. He was good at carve on marble and bronze, like relief. His famous work is David, but in that time many people think exposed his penis is not very well. But some artist think that was the art, so he didn't cover it. His works of St John the Evangelist is also very famous, and this works was made when he competition with his friend Brunellechi. Now this sculpture is put in the church of Santa Croce!

This sculpture is the most famous in all of Donatello's works. It works is made in 1504, and it's works is 434 cm. In that time some artist think the man's body is like god, so they usually use the man body to make their work. One of the artist is Donatello. In this work, I discover David take something on his had but in the picture I can't see that is what. He eyes look at his left it is like to something very conscientious. All of the part of body are use the marble to make, so we looks it is very bright and looks like god's body.
